The Progressive Economics Forum is organising a student essay contest. The topic is “Any subject related to political economy, economic theory, or economic policy that reflects a critical approach to unconstrained markets”. The contest is open to all Canadian students or international students studying in Canada, who are or were enrolled in a university during the 2014-2015 academic year. There is a $1000 prize for the best graduate paper and $500 for the best undergraduate paper. The deadline is May 4th, 2015, and submissions must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
